last night was the TRAFOZSATSFM CD release show at skull alley, and by all accounts was a swell time. all the bands seemed to embody Bowie’s energy and enthusiasm. every set was wonderfully played, and well worth the wait. before the show i reminded myself to make sure the night was properly documented but when the time came, managed to find myself completely distracted, mostly due to amount of beautiful people there are in town these days. so if anyone would like to share their photographs we would be greatly appreciative (photos of the show, although pics of beautiful people will be just as appreciated). to celebrate the success of TRAFOZSATSFM we are offering a free upload of the bonus track “5 years” by DANGERBIRD, right here, right now, so your collection will be complete.also, there has already been some wonderful words about TRAFOZSATSFM, including this review by Jeffrey Lee Puckett and this article nicely co-written (and somehow fictional account) by bands on the album about making the album (includes wax fang, joe manning, iamis, whistle peak). thanks so much to everyone who came out in the winter chill to support our project. you have absolutely warmed our hearts with your presence! click pic to see more photos from the TRAFOZSATSFM CD release show from velocity’s party crasher.

in less than one month the ziggy stardust tribute cd, trafozsatsfm, will be released into the world, and to mark the occasion we are having a party. on December 6th at 8pm PHANTOM FAMILY HALO, THE SLOW BREAK, IAMIS, WHISTLE PEAK, THE TROPHY WIVES, and SIX WHITE HORSES will be playing at SKULL ALLEY at broadway and barret. it is an all ages event with booze for the big kids.before the show will be an in-store at EAR X-TACY with WHISTLE PEAK, BLACK KERUAC, and others at 6pm. and it’s free gang. we hope to see you there. trafozsatsfm is available for pre-orde r now, in stores dec.2nd, tracks available now for preview here and on our listen page.

on october 1st t.r.a.f.o.z.s.a.t.f.m. a ziggy stardust tribute, will be available for pre-order (limited edition of 500). we will also have tracks available on our listen page. our friends at 37flood.com will also be previewing select tracks from the album as well as bonus tracks only available for a short time. it all happens on oct. 1st.

we are incredibly honored to release the announcement of our newest project: t.r.a.f.o.z.s.a.t.s.f.m. a ziggy stardust tribute. as the newest edition in our ”louisville is for covers” series, t.r.a.f.o.z.s.a.t.s.f.m. is a reproduction of the david bowie classic, the rise and fall of ziggy stardust and the spiders from mars, from start to finish by Louisville’s favorite bands, including: wax fang, the slow break, iamis, six white horses, the gallery singers, and many more. trafozsatsm is set to be released Dec. 2nd. we will have tracks up and pre-orders available by October 1st. for complete track listings and further information please visit the trafozsatsfm page in the ‘covers series‘ section.
