now that louisville is for lovers 2008 is out in the world, and fending for itself, it looks like it’s doing a pretty good job! pitchfork media has once agian been good to us, as well as our friends at 37 flood, and many others! but you can decide for your self! new songs from vol.8 are up here and here too! vol.8 is available now just in time for valentine’s day, as well as all the past volumes and louisville babylon!
this friday, feb.15th, is the louisville is for lovers showcase at the pour haus at 9pm with THE PHANTOM FAMILY HALO, ONE SMALL STEP, CHEMIC, THE MACK, AXEL, BIG TIME BAND, and SAREDREN WELLS. it’s only $5, so bring your sweetie.
the louisville is for lovers live lunch on wfpk radio on feb.8th went off without hitch and was a great time! 7 bands playing 2 songs each live on one stage in one hour! you can hear the entire broadcast here, along with last year’s broadcast!
